Colombia to win to nil versus Venezuela @ 3/4
La Tricolor thrashed Venezuela 3-0 in an October World Cup qualifier and can record another victory when the teams meet at the Copa America. Duvan Zapata opened the scoring then and a Luis Muriel brace meant the contest was effectively over before half-time. There is little in either side’s recent form to suggest Venezuela will turn the tables, with Colombia kicking off their campaign with a 1-0 win over Ecuador and La Vinotinto comprehensively beaten 3-0 by Brazil in the tournament curtain raiser.
Over 1.5 goals in first half of Brazil vs Peru @ 27/20
Handed hosting rights less than two weeks from the start of the current tournament following political unrest in Colombia and rising coronavirus cases in Argentina, the Selecao looked commanding in beating Venezuela. Marquinhos, Neymar and Gabriel Barbosa were all on target in a game the hosts dominated throughout. Los Incas only ended a run of four straight defeats by beating lowly Ecuador 2-1 in a World Cup qualifier last week and we fear they will be on the back foot from the outset.
Chile to beat Bolivia and over 3.5 goals @ 19/10
La Roja were impressive in holding Argentina to a 1-1 draw in their opening game of this tournament while Bolivia were beaten 3-1 by Paraguay after having Jaume Cuellar sent off. Winners of the 2015 and 2016 Copa Americas, Chile’s expectations are slightly lower this time around given a number of key players are approaching the end of their careers but the likes of Mauricio Isla, Claudio Bravo, Alexis Sanchez, Gary Medel, Eduardo Vargas and Arturo Vidal appear keen to enjoy a final flourish.
Argentina and Uruguay to draw @ 9/4
La Albiceleste missed a number of chances in that stalemate with Chile in their opening game but now face a well-drilled and experienced La Celeste outfit. Uruguay have only won once in five games but have kept clean sheets in three of their last four matches. Head coach Oscar Tabarez has plenty of experience at his disposal, with five players in his squad having a century of caps under their belts, including Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani and captain Diego Godin.
